What is Jisc » We are the UK's expert on digital technologies for education and research » We are a registered charity and champion the use of digital technologies in UK education and research » Offering includes: › Janet network – 19 million users and lightening quick, along with associated network service › Access to scholarly resources – £75.5 million savings per year › Advice and guidance on learning, teaching, etc., as well as support for research and the back office » Leadership and the bringing of people together

Jisc and Green IT » 4 year long initiative to help universities and colleges: › Reduce the environmental impacts of their ICT › Use ICT and related technologies to drive improvements in environmental performance across the campus The programme is now drawing to a close in a formal sense, but Jisc will be taking this work forward as part of the wider efficiencies agenda.
