Context o A global interdependent and decentralised information environment o Evolving models for accessing, licensing and lending digital content o Scope for libraries to act as the architects of their own future

Examples o Consortia ownership/in-house library hosted digital content o Centralised national/state budgets for digital content o Collective bargaining with aggregators o Extended collective licensing

Objective o Comparative analysis of different international e- lending models o Identify key factors which support sustainable approaches to e-lending and public access to digital content o Identify the benefits and drawbacks of different models
