What have we done so far Several Letter campaigns to Members of Congress and Senate. Met with members of House of Representatives and their staff and members of Senate and staff in their District offices as well as in their DC offices. In our last trip to DC we were asking members of Congress to pressure the Iraqi government on the formation of NPP among other things. Established friendly ties with Faith based national organizations in DC. Have access to a fully equipped office and reception facility near US Congress. Access to Christian traditional and online media; Newspapers, Radio and TV.

What we need to do Continue meeting with members of US house and Senate and/or their staff. Have our allies and friends in DC continue to talk to members of House and Senate and/or their staff. Support Congressman Wolf’s bill HR 440 to appoint a special envoy to the region. Schedule presentations similar to this in other cities in California and outside of California that have substantial Assyrian population.
