Career and Technical Education CTE - A program of study that involves a multiyear sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers.

Students will acquire the attitudes, knowledge and skills that attribute to effective learning in school and across the life span. Students will complete school with the academic preparation essential to choose from a wide range of substantial post-secondary options, including college. ASCA Standards

What is the right goal? “College for All” needs to be broadened to mean a meaningful “post-high school credential” for all. A meaningful credential can be earned in many ways: Community College Apprenticeship Military 4 Year University
