Block Grant Funding – Implications for CTE courses Under the block grant funding model, the weighting for CTE courses (0.5) is removed, however, the funds are NOT removed. School districts can assume: CTE Funding = CTE Funding = CTE Funding

Career Pathways Assessment System (cPass) 1.Optional assessments 2. Register students and generate tickets – same process as State Assessments 3. Pilot – Operational – Standard Setting – Score Reports Distributed 4. On the Horizon… cPass Performance Assessments = Career Competency Qualifications (CCQ’s)

Secondary/Post-secondary CTE Initiative (Senate Bill 155) & Tuition Reimbursement Fully Funded Credential Incentive Joint House/Senate Committee has agreed to $750,000 (originally 1.5M), both House and Senate must still vote Tuition Reimbursement Fully Funded Credential Incentive Proposed $750,000 for each of the next two school years
