Mount Dora High School Career-Technical Education (CTE) What is Career and Technical Education (CTE)? Students explore their interests and careers while in high school in addition to normal graduation requirement classes. Programs naturally emphasize core academic subjects within a real- world, career context. Students develop both technical skills and employability skills related to a career area. Students learn by doing through hands-on activities and experiences that compliment their academic classes Students develop Employability Skills and develop job-specific ACADEMIC and technical skills, interpersonal skills and work ethics.
