Use a Conversational Voice in the Hallway

Using a conversational voice means to be quiet and not being extremely loud or obnoxious. When walking in the hall during a class period you should be quiet so you don’t disturb a class.

During 5 th period Zachary walks quietly to the bathroom. As he is getting a drink Dennis runs up behind him and screams “Hurry up Zach, save some water for me!!!” Was this right or wrong?

During 6 th period April is walking in the hallway back to her classroom when her friend walks up behind and they quietly talk about their weekend plans.

A large group surrounds a student who is telling loud jokes that make fun of other people, everyone laughs and gives each other high fives.

Tom, Sara, Rachel and Megan gathered at the locker in the morning before school to quietly discuss their homework from last night.

You should be quiet when you are in the hallway so you do not disturb classes that are in progress. If you walk or run down hallway making a load of noise you will disturb the class.
