Processing New Information Guiding Questions – Part 1: Ownership and Personalization of Learning How would you define ownership of learning to someone else? The province and district are moving toward personalization of learning. How would you define personalization of learning to someone else? What does it mean to you? How does personalization of learning connect with our goal of developing ownership of learning?

Guiding Questions – Part 2: Think about the concept of ownership; what evidence do you see at our school that demonstrates that ownership is happening? What are some of the barriers to ownership ? What are some of the possibilities to further increase ownership of learning at our school?

Guiding Questions – Part 3: Think about your classroom, what are some of the opportunities to develop ownership of learning that you might explore individually and/or collaboratively? Frame your thinking as a inquiry. Some examples…Some examples… In groups or individually work on or continue to explore some of the possibilities as you begin planning for the upcoming year.
