J Rehabil Res Dev. 2014;51(9):1377–82. Slideshow Project DOI: /JRRD JSP Aim – Innovative, low-cost, multidisciplinary effort to maximize quality of life in veteran with spinal cord injury and ischial wound by converting his power wheelchair into motorized prone cart. Relevance – Prone carts can alleviate loss of mobility and independence associated with decreased sitting times. Not all persons with neurologic impairment can use traditional manual prone carts. Specialized motorized prone carts are not always available.
