Mrs Cannon' Reading Open House 4/16/2017 Tardiness I expect students to enter class on time. I understand that there are circumstances that arise, that is why students are given 3 free tardies each quarter. After 3, I usually assign a lunch detention first, then after-school detention.

Mrs Cannon' Reading Open House 4/16/2017 Parent Involvement Read notes and assignments that are recorded in your student’s agenda. Monitor progress during units by checking your student’s work. Encourage and support homework and assignments. Talk with your student on a regular basis about what he/she is learning. Create an atmosphere at home where your student has a designated study space and study time. Offer help with homework or make sure your student asks for help before or after school.
