Introduction The day of selling the pearl had arrived Everyone was anxious The dealers had a collution. There was a conspiracy beyond the selling of the pearl. Here we can notice the real attitude changes of the characters. The main purpose of this is making a fast summary about chapter 4 and a short analysis of what happen in the story. Everyone is interested in the pearl

CHAPTER 4. Kino was preparing to sell the pearl. There was some foreshadowing in the story. There was a collusion between the pearl dealers. Kino offered the pearl to dealers

Kino discovered that the dealer were cheating him Kino decide to go and said he was going to the capital to sell his pearl Kino arrived to his home and someone attack him then he decided to preserve the pearl.

Analysis Steinbeck: -Reflection of the real world -Sins of flesh -Organization of the town (poor and rich) Pearl dealers: -Were ambitious and mean -Wanted the pearl in the lowest price -Had a collution among them -They were controlled by someone Kino and Juana -Both changed their character -Kino wants a good price for the pearl -Kino the pearl represents the opportunity of having a new status -Juana think the pearl is a sin
