OR-PR 156 Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff

 Cut a strip of leather 2 1/2” wide and the length of the largest calf circumference + 2 1/2” Largest Calf Circumference + 2 1/2” 2 1/2”

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Cut out pearl/cream cow strip as long as cuff and about 2” wider  Make sure that stretch runs along length Cuff width + 2” Cuff length STRETCH

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Glue back of cuff as well as cowhide

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Stretch cowhide lengthwise

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Turn leather strip over, center, and adhere to cowhide strip

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Measure in 2 1/2 “ from each end and mark top & bottom edges of cuff  Cut cowhide at 45° angles as shown  Glue edges of leather strip within cut lines 2 ½”

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Fold and glue down cowhide over edges of cuff  Sew around perimeter of cuff, 3/16” from edges

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Trim away cowhide around perimeter of cuff  Trim folded-over cowhide 1/8” from stitching  Miter corners of cuff slightly

Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff  Your cuff is now ready to attach to the calf band
