Cut a strip of leather 2 1/2” wide and the length of the largest calf circumference + 2 1/2” Largest Calf Circumference + 2 1/2” 2 1/2”
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Cut out pearl/cream cow strip as long as cuff and about 2” wider Make sure that stretch runs along length Cuff width + 2” Cuff length STRETCH
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Glue back of cuff as well as cowhide
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Stretch cowhide lengthwise
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Turn leather strip over, center, and adhere to cowhide strip
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Measure in 2 1/2 “ from each end and mark top & bottom edges of cuff Cut cowhide at 45° angles as shown Glue edges of leather strip within cut lines 2 ½”
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Fold and glue down cowhide over edges of cuff Sew around perimeter of cuff, 3/16” from edges
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Trim away cowhide around perimeter of cuff Trim folded-over cowhide 1/8” from stitching Miter corners of cuff slightly
Fabricate a Standard Full Calf Cuff Your cuff is now ready to attach to the calf band
