Purpose of the standard. The purpose of this document is to provide clarity and guidance for the purpose of repair and remanufacturing of Drill Through Equipment. What did we deliver in 2013 Non negotiable list (entry level for repair/remanufacturing) content completed in the 12 Nov meeting. Finalized content of Manufacturing Data book and Project history File, which are added to the API-16A and API-16AR Standard as an Annex. Finalized content of Annex-C showing the engineering ownership of the assembly (API-53 STD OEM definition). Completed content of Quality Control chapter, including RSL levels 1-3 Completed content of QMS system requirements. TPI in API-16AR If Third Party Inspection is used, the following applies: Third Party Inspectors (TPI) shall be competent based on the appropriate education, training, skills and experience needed to perform the inspection service and certification related product requirements defined in the inspection scope. Evidence of the determination of competence of TPI personnel shall be recorded and maintained by the TPI company in accordance with their QMS documented procedures and requirements for competence. The TPI scope shall be clearly defined in the purchase order by the client. The TPI requirements defined in the purchase order shall be included in the Inspection Test Plan for the product.
