Review of vision 2020 During XII plan, suburban traffic growth is about 3% and non – suburban about 5% XIII plan, terminal year 2021-22, expected growth 4% in suburban and 7% non – suburban Expected demand about 4000 coaches per year currently, may go up to about 7000 per year by end of XIII plan Requirement of wagons presently 12,500 wagons per year is likely to go up to about 19000 by end of XIII plan Number of locos required in next five years is expected to vary between 3100 to 3400
