Final Jeopardy How does the concept of majority rule relate to the principle of Representative Democracy?

Final Jeopardy Majority rule means that the side that receives the most support wins. Representative Democracy is a government in which people elect government leaders to work on behalf of the people. The elected officials are the ones who received the majority of support of the people. So in this way the people are represented by the elected officials who got the majority of votes.
