CELL BROCHURE PROJECT MS. REAVIS-BEY 7 TH GRADE SCIENCE

CELL BROCHURE ACTIVITY OBJECTIVE: SWBAT EXPLAIN THE FUNCTIONS OF A CELL BY CREATING A CELL BROCHURE.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A BROCHURE? THE PURPOSE OF A BROCHURE IS TO CAPTIVATE AN AUDIENCE. GENERATE MONEY BY GETTING CUSTOMERS TO COME TO YOUR BUSINESS.

CONTENTS OF A BROCHURE PERSUADE THE READER OF SOME MESSAGE. KEY POINTS. STATEMENTS ARE SUPPORTED WITH CONVINCING DETAILS. BROCHURES ARE VISUAL, CREATIVE, AND ATTRACTIVE.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION PAGE 1 MUST HAVE THE NAME OF YOUR ROADSIDE ATTRACTION/ AMUSEMENT PARK COLORFUL, ATTRACTIVE, AND INVITING TO CUSTOMERS AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF THE PAGE, WRITE YOUR NAME AND BLOCK NUMBER.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION REMAINING PAGES MUST DESCRIBE KEY TERM(S), PICTURES AND THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE ATTRACTION. ALL 4 PAGES MUST HAVE THE ATTRACTION/RIDE AND DETAILS SPECIFIC TO THE FUNCTION OF THAT ORGANELLE. YOU MAY INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE RIDE OR ATTRACTION ON A PAGE. PAGE 5 IS THE CENTER BACK PAGE. THIS PAGE WILL BE THE SUMMARY OF YOUR AMUSEMENT PARK/ROADSIDE ATTRACTION. YOU WILL EXPLAIN WHY CUSTOMERS SHOULD COME, OR VISIT AGAIN.

ANIMAL CELLS MUST INCLUDE ALL OF THESE KEY TERMS: PLASMA CELL MEMBRANE CELL MEMBRANE NUCLEUS NUCLEAR MEMBRANE VACUOLES MITOCHONDRIA CYTOPLASM

PLANT CELLS YOUR BROCHURE MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING KEY TERMS: CYTOPLASM CELL MEMBRANE NUCLEUS NUCLEAR MEMBRANE CENTRAL VACUOLE CHLOROPLASTS CELL WALL MITOCHONDRIA

THE RUBRIC WILL BE ONLINE ANY QUESTIONS?
