How deep was the deepest hole dug?  The deepest hole ever dug was 40,230 ft. deep.  It was a “BORE HOLE” Soviet Union was the area in which the hole was dug. (Russia) Soviet Union They dug it for “scientific purposes” They found no traces of graphite or basalt within their bore hole but did find an abundance of water.

Filled with its rocky and brittle combination, it would be hard to traverse. Made up of the continental and oceanic crusts. The oceanic is more dense than the continental crust. (Surface.) Crust

Mantle With it’s thick magnesium and iron layers it would be hard to mine. The uppermost mantle is grouped with the crust called the lithosphere. Within the mantle we have the asthenosphere which can be so hot that some metals melt. (2,900 km below surface.)

Outer Core Made up of liquid iron and blazing temperature this layer would be impossible to mine at all. This layer is barely attached to its counter component the inner core. Both are made of iron molten and crystalized.(5,150 km below surface.)

Inner Core Combined with it’s sharp iron crystals and high powerful pressure it would break most mining drills. This is the very center of the earth basically impossible to reach by human means. Our only findings have been done through non-physical methods. (6,370 km from surface.)

What technology The technology needed would be a nearly indestructible drill so that it could mine through the molten metals, the hard materials and handle the pressure.

IS IT POSSIBLE?  HECK NAW  With all the difficulties and pressure our current technology would break in the snap of a finger, currently we haven’t even passed the crust. X
