SSP Requirements Process Originator (generally contractor) initiates T&ME Requirement (Data Sheet) via web site https://tmecranrdte.navy.mil

SSP Requirements Process Data Sheet Identifies: Originator and Approving Official (SSP or NAVSEA Cog) New, Revised or Cancelled Requirement SPTE or GPTE Specific Model, Accessories, Authorized Substitutes chosen from OD 54585 Selection List Procurement Required and by who Calibration Support (Completed by MSD) Repair Support Allocation (SSBN, Work Center, Qty, Prime System) Procedural Documents for Requirement (MRC, SMP, Tech Manual, RPM, etc.)

SSP Requirements Process

SSP Requirements Process Electronic Data Sheet Routing Process Flow Originator Creates Designated Government Rep Approves NSWC Crane Review Ensure proper TME selection and non-proliferation Update allowance documentation, initiate procurement, update OD55551 (SSBN Substitution Guide) NSWC Corona Review Determine calibration support level, update METRL, identify ICP

SSP Requirements Process

NAVSEA Requirements Process Upload PMS FR Identify MRCs added, deleted or changed Identify T&ME impact Run comparison routine Cancel Requirement and Remove T&ME if required New Requirement Link Requirement to Data Sheet No Yes Generate “Matrix” of Data Sheet requirements Proliferation of T&ME Obviously the data sheet process is in an ideal world, that does not exist. To ensure changing requirements are captured, NSWC Crane reviews both SSP and NAVSEA maintenance documentation for portable T&ME impacts. The intent of the process is to ensure the sailor has the equipment to perform the procedure, remove equipment not required and ensure calibration support in place. Initiate Data Sheet No Yes Use Equipment Onboard
