Why We Do What We Do We’re committed to providing assistive technology to help Post- Secondary Students reach their full potential through greater independence and academic success. Our development is grounded on the principles of Universal Design since we believe that all students deserve an equal opportunity to participate in the benefits of Higher Education.

Indicators of Post-Secondary Need 73 % of students with disabilities enroll in higher education, compared to 84% of their peers without disabilities. – But, only 28% achieve diplomas in 4-year, public institutions as compared to 54% (almost twice) their peers without disabilities. (Institute for Higher Education Policy, 2004) 70% of at-risk students who take 1 or more remedial classes in college do not obtain a degree or certificate within 8 years of enrollment (Kuhn et al., 2005) – Data from the College Board state that students with disabilities are more likely to need remediation while in college
