General Timeline: March 16, 2015: turn in Biosketch and CV. March-May: meet with Deans regarding Dean’s letter. April 21 st, 8:30-12:30, & April 23 rd, 12 noon-4:00: mandatory Fourth Year Orientation. Late April: ERAS application program partially opens, get ERAS Letter of Recommendation Request Forms: June: Contact Residency Programs you are interested in: June, July: Personal Statement Workshops, ERAS Workshop. June-August: have your Dean review your Personal Statement. Have application photo taken before September 15 th.

General Timeline, cont. August-September: review your Dean’s Letter. August-October: have your Dean review your program selection list. September or October: Residency Interview Workshop October 1 st : MSPEs sent out to all Matches. September-November: Review list of interview invitations with your Dean. September-November: schedule mock interview sessions with your Dean. October-February: Interview Season December-February: review Rank Lists with you Dean. December (Military), January (SFMP, AUA) March (CaRMS, NRMP): various match days.

NRMP Match July 1, 2015, ERAS fully opens: Early September: Transcripts scanned into ERAS. September 15: – soft deadline for LORs uploaded into ERAS. – Earliest that application information can be transmitted to programs. – register with NRMP: October 1, 2015: Dean’s Letters released to programs by ERAS October 1: hard deadline for LORs uploaded into ERAS.

NRMP Match, cont. October-November, 2015: schedule mock interview with your Dean, and have your Dean review your interview invitations list. October, 2015-February 2016: interview season. January-February 2016: review Rank List with your Dean. January 15, 2016-February 24, 2016: Rank List entry period Match Day: Anticipated for Friday, March 18, 2016

SFMP Match June 1, 2015: SFMP Registration opens. Apply through CAS for SFMP: – September 2, 2015: Target date to complete Ophthalmology application in CAS. September 15, 2015: transcripts uploaded to CAS. October 1, 2015: MSPEs released to programs by SFMP. October-December: Interview season. December, 2015: Review Rank Lists with your Dean, begin inputting into CAS. January 5, 2016, 12:00 noon P.S.T: Rank Lists due. January 12, 2016: results released to medical schools.

AUA Match Mid-June, 2015: AUA Registration opens: – July 1, 2015, input application information in ERAS: Fall 2015-January 2016: interview season. October 1, 2015: MSPEs released to programs by ERAS. October-December: Interview season. December 2015-very early January, 2016: Rank List entry period, review Rank List with your Dean. Very early January 2016 (prob. Jan. 4 th ): Rank Lists due. Late January, 2016: results released to medical schools, programs & applicants.

CaRMS Match August, 2015: CaRMS Registration opens: – September 2, 2015: CaRMS Application opens. Mid-October, 2015: Program selection opens. Late-October, 2015: transcripts due. November, 2015: MSPRs (MSPEs) due. Late November, 2015: applications close. January 16, 2016-February 7, 2016: interview season. Late January-early February: Rank List entry period, review Rank Lists with your Dean. February 18, 2016: Rank Lists due. March 2, 2016: results released to applicants.

Military Match Military students automatically registered by the Military (Army, Navy, Air Force): June-September, 2015: interview season. All military rotations: expect to be interviewed. September 15, 2015: applications due. October 1, 2015: MSPEs uploaded to MOD website. Mid-October, 2015: all supporting documents due. Mid-October, 2015: Rank Lists (Specialty Preferences) due, review ahead of time with your Dean. Mid-December: results released to applicants.
