Objectives Learn about the Arabian Peninsula, its nomadic people, and its centers of trade. Find out about the life and mission of the Muslim prophet Muhammad. Learn about Muslim beliefs.

The Arabian Peninsula Arabian Peninsula is desert. It has no major rivers and gets little rain.
