Early Years Muhammad Ali was born in January 17,1942. Muhammad Ali grew up at Louisville, Kentucky. His childhood was hard because he could not play with white people. His name used to be Cassius Clay. His family did not have a lot of money. His mother was a maid. His dad was a painter.
Important Contributions Muhammad Ali is one of the best boxers in the world. For winning a lot of Championships. He was brave to be in slavery.
Other Interesting Facts I Learned… The Army wanted him. He won 5 Champion belts. He lost 2 titles. When he versed Mike Tyson, he won. He went to jail because he did not want to go to the Army. He has a famous phrase that goes, “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.” In the Hall of Fame, he was named one of the best boxers ever.
Did he die or not? No he did not. He is 73. He suffers from injuries he got from boxing for so many years.
