3 Materials License Notes To access the feature: Window > Show Notes. Moderators and Participants can take notes during a session. Notes are automatically saved locally. Notes are synchronized to recordings. Notes can be used with screen reader technology.

5 Materials License Within the Bb Collaborate Session: Open the Notes window - Window>Show Notes. Start Typing – the cursor is positioned at the top of the Notes editor. Text will wrap to fit. Press Enter to end the note and start a new one. To Close – click on the close button, the X in the upper right hand corner. Saving Notes – are saved automatically to your local hard drive. 7 Materials License Select the Notes document you want to export. Click on the Export Notes button.  The Save file dialog will open. Browse to the folder or directory where you want to save it. Select the file format to save the document - either.eln or.txt Enter a File name. If exporting more than one to save them all in the same format, check the Apply to All check box. Click on Save. (If saving multiple notes, you will need to click on save for each one.) Exporting Notes TIP: To simplify – just copy and paste the notes into another application such as Word.

8 Materials License You may wish to import Notes from another class or Notes that someone else wishes to share.  Click on the Import icon to import notes from another source.  Document to be imported must be in an.eln format Importing Notes Import

9 Materials License Export the Notes document as a.txt file. Open it in a text editor. Use the text’s editor printing. Printing Notes TIP: To simplify – just copy and paste the notes into another application such as Word, then print.

10 Materials License First – you will need to open the Notes Window in a Bb Collaborate Web Conferencing Session. Open the Notes documents list by clicking on the Manage Notes Button. Enter a word in the search box.  Session dates are not searchable.  Sessions are listed in reverse chronological order. Scroll to the desired date. Searching for Notes Documents Search Box

11 Materials License From the Notes Document list – select the document to be deleted. Select the document and hold down the Control (Command on the Mac) to select any remaining documents. Click on the Delete Notes button. A message dialog box will appear asking you to confirm. Click on Yes to complete the deletion. Deleting Notes Documents
