1. COMMIT TO BECOMING DEBT FREE NOW. Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrow and do not repay but the righteous give generously…”

2. START PAYING GOD AND YOURSELF FIRST Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

3. DO A PERSONAL STOCKTAKE Proverbs 24:3 “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.”

4. HAVE A GARAGE SALE

5. SET UP A SPECIFIC PLAN TO GET OUT OF DEBT Proverbs 21:5 NLT "Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity."

6. ADD NO NEW DEBT Cut out debt cold turkey. Stop going into debt right now. Cut up your credit cards. Don’t get any more loans. No more lay buys!

6. ADD NO NEW DEBT The number one reason people go in debt is that they can’t live on what they make. Decide today that you will. To do that, you’ve got to be content with what you have.
