Weaknesses of The Articles of Confederation The confederation of delegates had a difficult time writing the first constitution, a plan of government, because at this time in history, no other country in the world had a government similar to what the delegates wanted.

The delegates wanted strong leaders -but feared that if they gave the government too much power it could turn even good leaders bad. And they certainly didn’t want to be ruled by another king. Good Bad

We have more people in Massachusetts. We should get more votes. No, the Articles of Confederation say you get only one vote.
