Imagine YOU are Japan. You are small, relatively weak, and have few resources. The U.S. and Europe are exploiting China, you get none of the resources. HOW DO YOU FEEL? WHAT DO YOU DO?

Imagine YOU are the USA. You just fought a war for another country. You are tired and suffering from a Great Depression. You do not want to enter into war, but tiny Japan (a country you trade with) is trying to take over China and interfering with you getting resources. HOW DO YOU FEEL? WHAT DO YOU DO?

Why did it happen? Rape of Nanking

You STILL don’t want to enter into war, but you want Japan to leave the rest of the world alone. What do you do?

You know that the US is much more powerful than you. You have no idea if they are hungry for war or not. You know that you want them to leave you alone. What do you do?
