My Rating  My rating on the textbook was a Conservation Star. I still need to work on riding my bike more places and recycle as much as I can to save the environment and not pollute the air.

2-Liter bottle Recycling  There are so many ways that you can recycle a 2- liter bottle. One of those ways is to make a bird feeder.  Here’s how -  Step One – Cut two matching holes on either side of the bottle. Either circular or rectangular.  Step Two – Drill or punch holes underneath cut outs and insert dowel for perch through bottle.  Step Three – Drill small holes through neck and insert wire or string to hang from tree.  Fill bottom of bottle with bird seed.

3 R’s of Saving the Environment  The three R’s of saving the environment are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.  The fourth “R” I came up with was the word Refurbish which means to restore or renovate. We live in a disposable society where everything is thrown out and just replaced. Maybe if we refurbished more there would be less trash in the landfills.
