What began as an effort to provide food and clothing from the back door of a local church has grown into a family of agencies providing a continuum of services designed to move people from crisis and instability to self-sufficiency and independence. Included within this family of agencies are Lighthouse of Oakland County, Inc. - the parent corporation providing administrative and fund raising services to all parts of Lighthouse Lighthouse Emergency Services - the most comprehensive emergency services center in Oakland County Lighthouse PATH - the first and most successful transitional housing program in Oakland County Lighthouse Community Development - the most successful non-profit housing corporation in Oakland County ed Lizabeth Wiggins ( )

Sometimes we have to break into larger sub groups of maybe 10 to 15 but we reconvene to debrief at the end of the experience if that is necessary. I also like to give you a meaningful and impactful experience with as much client contact as possible.” We have a residential community for homeless moms and their children and as the moms become self-sufficient and move out, we refurbish the house or apartment for the next family that is moving in. It will also be holiday time and we will be running our adopt a family full throttle at that point so there will be a mountain of presents in a local church gymnasium in Pontiac to be sorted and packed up for the adopted families.

If I'm not there to greet you, there should be a security guard in the center of the atrium to guide you to the room.  Even though the address is on Hamlin you can also get to the parking lot off of Squirrel Road just north of Hamlin. There are large lots on the north and south sides of the building.  If you should need me for anything that morning, my cell phone is
