Serving the people of Cumbria Do not use fonts other than Arial for your presentations Beckside Evaluation Aim Refurbish a dementia unit in a residential care home based on research that suggests a safe, well designed living space is a key part of providing the best care for people with dementia (Ref: University of Stirling). Implement the dementia design audit tool (Dementia Services Development Centre University of Stirling) to recognise best practice and achieve Gold certification. Evaluate the effectiveness of the refurbishment to demonstrate the positive contribution to enhancing the lives of people with dementia.
