Who are the Project Manager They are organized, passionate and goal-oriented who understand what projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change.

The skills required for a successful project manager come from every discipline. Some are basic human skills while others are more technical. A degree in management is useful for someone who wants to go into project management as it provides a background in human resources, organizational behavior, finance, operations and information systems. Some of the skills are learned only by experiencing success and failure in managing projects. Responabilities and duties of PM

The combination of proficiencies required to succeed as project managers include personal, management and technical skills. Here is a further breakdown of some of the skills required to properly and efficiently lead projects and teams to success:

Team work – knowing how to listen, share, cooperate and learn together as a team Positive attitude – important for difficult times incurred along the way throughout the process Ability to clearly articulate expectations – clearly define what is expected of team members and define expectations on your deliverables to your management Manage by example – project managers must be straightforward and knowledgeable in all dealings. The skills required are many and vary. A project manager must be prepared for all situations and be able to manage uncertainty and change in a less defined environment. A project manager must lead by example and motivate all parties involved. The project manager must strive to further develop and enhance their skills so as to continue leading their team to success.
