WHAT: I believe that Alabama’s secondary CTE is critical to ensuring that Alabama and the United States lead in global competitiveness.
REFLECT: AN EVOLUTION HOW: We will develop 21 st century CTE programs utilizing national common core technical standards built upon the National Career Clusters Knowledge and Skills Statements that are benchmarked internationally and supported by leaders from business labor, education and government.
REFLECT: AN EVOLUTION HOW: We will initiate and support policies that secure CTE’s leadership role in leading alignment among education, economic development, and workforce development by increasing Alabama’s investment in secondary CTE.
REFLECT: AN EVOLUTION HOW: We will launch a marketing and communications campaign to showcase CTE’s critical role in transforming the way education is delivered to all students, and to underscore the positive, economic impact it provides for individuals and our state.
