In 1565 Mary married her first cousin, Darnley. In fact, Darnley was a vicious man. Darnley was strangled in the house that was blown up.

Mary escaped from the jail and headed to English.  Bothwell

Mary had made a terrible misjudgment. Elizabeth offered Mary nothing more than another prison. The reasons : 1.Mary probably instigated someone to kill Darnley. 2.Mary was considered as a true queen of England.
