Purpose The reason we are doing this project is to see which airplane goes the farthest. Hypothesis We think that the dart will go the farthest because of the way its built. It is built light and skinny.

The Materials pen A measuring tape 3 pieces of printer paper computer Excel program 1 piece of note book paper

The Procedures First we got instruction on how to make the dart, glider, and the whiskered dart Then we laid the tape measure down the hall Then we got a notebook for our trials Then we took the dart plane and flew it three times Then we recorded how far it went each time Then we took the glider and flew it three times Then we recorded how far it went each time And finally we flew the whiskered dart plain three times Then we recorded how far it went each time

Conclusion Our hypothesis was right. Because the dart went the farthest all three times. The farthest it went was 23feet 6 inches. The farthest the glider went was 10 feet 9 inches. And the farthest the whiskered dart went was 11 feet 1 inch. If we were to do this again we would try 2 different type of plains. But we would keep the dart.
