Captain Smuggle is a bloodthirsty treasure- seeking pirate. There is no treasure that lies forgotten when Smuggle is around. With the help of Deckhand Dave, Smuggle intends to lay his hands on the famous treasure laid buried and hidden on Treasure Island.

Before venturing on with Smuggle and Dave let’s make sure we know the compass points.

North South East West North East South EastSouth West North West

Off we go to find the Treasure hidden out there.

Smuggle has laid his hands on the map of Treasure Island. He wants Dave to get the Treasure for him and us to help him.

Smuggle and Dave land near the palm trees. They know that the first clue leading them to the treasure should lie there.

They smash open the coconut to find a note saying: Go North from the Palm Trees

Dave arrives near a shipwreck. He wanders around looking for the next clue. Where could it be?

Dave looks into the barrel and finds a note saying: Go North East from the Shipwreck

Dave arrives near a direction sign indicating the way to the river. Should Dave go to the river? Could that be the next clue?

Dave looks inside the skull and finds a note saying: Go North West from the Sign post

Dave arrives near some shrubs. Where could the next clue be? He searches hard, he has to find out where to go next.

Dave looks inside the log and finds a note saying: Go East from the Shrubs

Dave arrives near a stream. He searches around but no clue can be found. Tired and thirsty Dave moves closer to the stream and …

Dave looks inside the bottle and finds a note saying: Go South from the Stream

Dave arrives near some hills. He walks up to an abandoned cabin, the clue ought to be there. Where is he to go to next?

Dave looks inside the cabin and finds a note saying: Go South West from the Hills

Dave arrives near a cave. He is so tired now. But back in the cave he sees a casket … it’s too dark … he drags it out, and …

Inside the casket Dave finds another note saying: Go South East from the Cave

Dave arrived near the standing rocks and… there lay the Treasure amongst the standing rocks. Dave was so glad and Captain Smuggle would be so pleased with him. But how is Dave to reach Captain Smuggle? Which is the shortest way back?

From the Standing Rocks to the Palm Trees its best if Dave goes… WEST WEST

Good job Dave… you’re wonderful kids!! Thanks kids, you’re great!!
