CONSTRUCTION TRAINING CENTER Mission Statement To develop male and female students for permanent job placement and business ownership. Our focus is not only the traditional student, but the non-traditional (i.e. welfare recipients, non-custodial parents and unskilled workers) with an interest in the construction industry.

CONSTRUCTION TRAINING CENTER About Us Construction Training Center (CTC) was started in 2000 by John E. Cammon, who is the president of CTC. We are licensed by the South Carolina Commission of Higher Education, 1333 Main Street Suite 200, Columbia, SC We are an Accredited Training Unit of Shaw Industries for NCCER Certification

Tuition and Fees Rod Buster Program Total Cost$ Total Hours 640 (33 credit hours) Form Carpentry Program Total Cost$ Total Hours 640 (33 credit hours) Concrete Finishing Program Total Cost$ Total Hours 640 (33 credit hours) Form Carpentry NCCER Certification for Experience Workers* Total Cost$ Total Hours 200 contact hours * Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in commercial carpentry with form and scaffold building. Those desiring to enroll in the fast- track must pass a performance test to qualify. Otherwise students must be enroll in 640 hour program.

CTC Admission Requirements Completed application Signed enrollment agreement Signed physical ability release form No GED required Posses 9 th grade reading & math skills

Goals for CTC Graduates Students will complete CTC’s certification and NCCER Certification Possess life skills & employability skills that can be used in various markets Obtain gainful employment in the construction industry (i.e. level 3, $17.00/hr, level 4, $20.00)
