By 2020 the government would like all schools to be models of good global citizenship, enriching their educational mission with active support for the well- being of the global environment and community.

 To look at a school very different from ours; a school in Hertfordshire “Our school population is a reflection of the rich cultural diversity of the community. Our children originate from many different countries, speaking a large number of languages. We believe this makes our school a vibrant and exciting place to be.”

 We need to demonstrate that through the inclusion of an international focus in Whinstone Primary School, we are able to offer to our children, a range of experiences that will enhance their learning and raise awareness of their national and international identity.
