18 th and 21 st Amendments  The 18 th amendment was written to prohibit alcohol  The 21 st amendment was written to legalize alchohol but you need to be 21 to drink

13 th, 14 th, and 15 th Amendments  The 13 th amendment abolished and continues to prohibit, with limited exceptions, involuntary servitude.  The 14 th amendment was written to protect the civil rights of former slaves  The 15 th banned all racial restrictions on voting

Executive Branch  Headed by the president  President is the commander in Chief, Chief Legislator and Head Diplomat  There have been 44 presidents  Described in Article II of the constitution
