CAPACITY BUILDING

Co-Financing Defined A Company shall receive financial support from exporTT on the condition that the company will be reimbursed for a portion of the pre-approved investment, purchase, cost or expense incurred by the company in reaching selected export markets

Eligible Activities – ICT Services Tender Fees for International Tenders Legal Fees Associated with conducting business in target markets Translation & Interpretation Services Registration at International Conferences to promote ICT Services Booth Rental at Trade Shows Business to Business Matchmaking Services Technical Costs re International Standards Certification eg ISO 9001, ITIL 2700 Booth Design at Trade Shows Ground Transport for exporTT led groups at trade missions & tradeshows Short-Term Professional Work Permit Fees (6 months maximum) Registering to do Business in foreign countries Shipping of Promotional Materials 9

Eligibility Criteria  Proof of Business Registration/Incorporation  Company must be locally owned (greater than 50% must be locally owned)  Exporting products must be manufactured locally  Only Level 1-3 exporters are eligible for the co-financing service

Classification of Exporters o Level 1- Exporting to diverse extra-regional markets with different languages, cultures FCOR’s, Europe, Asia, Africa o Level 2 – Exporting to regional markets with similar languages, cultures, standards and practices eg CARICOM, USA

Classification of Exporters o Level 3 – Pre Export Stage with management commitment to engage in active exporting and are willing to fill occasional export orders o Level 4 – Firms cater solely for domestic market but are willing to fill unsolicited export orders

Co Financing Limits per fiscal year (Oct – Sep) o Level 1 Exporter: TT$150,000 o Level 2 Exporter: TT$ 75,000 o Level 3 Exporter: TT$25,000 o Per exporter, per year

exporTT’s Services International Standards In fulfilment of its mandate, exporTT provides firms with technical and financial assistance to meet international standards and receive certification.

exporTT’s Services International Standards Service providers exporTT assist companies working towards ISO 9001 certification exporTT covers 50% of the cost of obtaining ISO 9001 up to 100, (TTD) Financing limit is 50,000 (TTD)
