2010 – 2011… Focus #2: College and Career Readiness Increase teachers trained in AP and IB Revise rigor in all secondary coursework Hire S.T.E.M. Program Development Manager Develop and Implement articulated S.T.E.M. programming at elementary, middle, and high school levels Develop early failure identification process in each school to intercede with students and families
2010 – 2011… Focus #8: Family and Community Engagement New activities will begin in July 2011 Focus #10: Coherent Approach to Professional Development Learning Focused Solutions Model Vertical / Horizontal curriculum discussions within and across schools Singapore Math + increase math content knowledge of elementary teachers
Accelerating and Sustaining Success: 2011 – 2012 through Allocation Requests for Years Two – Four: 2011 – 2012: $1,358,224 2012 – 2013: $1,228,492 2013 – 2014: $1,180,451 Note: DOE increased allocation by $19,056 after submission of Scope of Work. Annual allocation requests will be adjusted.
