Endangered or Extinct Animals What do you think is the difference between extinct and endangered?
Extinct Extinct means a type of animal that once lived on this earth that no longer can be found living anywhere.
Endangered Endangered animals are a type of animal that still lives on earth, but there are very few, and may become extinct.
Why? Animals become extinct or endangered because they cannot or have a hard time of meeting one or more of their needs. For example, food, water, shelter, reproduction. Humans are some times the reason for the animals not being able to meet their needs because of destroying their homes, over hunting, polluting their environment, killing it’s food.
