What do you know about frogs?

Frogs absorb water through their skin so they don't need to drink. Frogs usually eat meat (bugs and worms) and swallow their food whole. One type of desert frog can wait as long as seven years for water by surrounding itself in a type of transparent bag that becomes its first meal once the rain comes.

Most baby animals look like their mom and dad, just smaller. Mommy ? Daddy?

But baby frogs do not look anything like their mom or dad! Mommy! Hi Baby!

A frog begins life as an egg, or spawn.

Frog Babies The eggs hatch. Tiny tadpoles come out. Tadpoles are tiny frogs.

Tadpole At Six to Nine Weeks of Development The tadpole has hind legs. There’s a bulge in the body where the front legs are developing. The shape of its head is changing to look like that of a frog.

FROGLET: 10 – 12 WEEKS It looks like a miniature frog with a tail. The tail gradually becomes shorter and it is absorbed. The froglet spends more time around the edges of ponds.

Adult Frog at 12 weeks is adult frog lives on land

Can you list the stages in the life cycle of a frog?
