Forrest Gump – Forrest (in the present) is telling his life story (of Forrest in the past) to various citizens on the park bench. Can you think of any others?

Grammar Focus   Double negatives are created by using two negative words in a sentence where only one is needed. In effect, two negatives cancel each other out, thereby changing the intended meaning of a sentence. Double negatives are not accepted in Standard English, but they do appear in some regional dialects. Here, Simon Wheeler speaks with a double negative: Examples: “…he hadn’t no opportunities to speak of…” “there couldn’t be no solit’ry thing mentioned but that feller’d offer to bet on it…”
