Facts The poison dart frog is about one inch. Their skin is poisonus. They have enough poison to kill up to 20,000 mice. They can be many colors. They can be red, yellow, green, and blue.
Where does the poison dart frog live? They live in Central and South America. It lives on the forest floor and the understory layers of the rainforest.
What does that layer look like? There are shrubs, young trees, palms and woody plants in the understory. The understory is dark and shadowy.
What does it eat? They eat poisonus plants, ants, fruit, crickets, and beetles.
