According to the official Save The Frogs Day worldwide, also the LondonAscott properties gave their contribution to save the frogs this year.

.. is to protect frogs and to promote a society that respects and appreciates nature and wildlife, to create a better planet for humans and wildlife. Frog populations have been rapidly disappearing worldwide and nearly one-third of the world's amphibian species are on the verge of extinction. Up to 200 species have completely disappeared since 1979.

They eat mosquitoes, provide us with medical advances, serve as food for birds, fish and monkeys, their tadpoles filter our drinking water. Plus frogs look and sound cool, and kids love them – so there are lots of reasons to save the them!

Being careful with simply things, like driving slowly on wet nights and not using pesticides can make a big difference! We were distributing information cards about the way they could help.

Although our french guests were not happy, we suggested not to eat frog legs…

as it didn’t turn into a prince(ss)!

Don’t forget… SAVE THE FROGS!
