HIGH AVAILABILITY Legacy BES Multiple servers to handle a single BlackBerry “Instance.” (bound to a single SRP) Service separation (placing critical services on one server and non-critical services on another) BES 10 RTM: BES 10 RTM does not have native high availability This can be mitigated by creating independent Instances locally or across data centers There is no automatic failover, so manual intervention is required
