TAAT Responsibilities TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE & ADVISORY TEAM (TAAT) TAAT Responsibilities Team of MPF-specific SMEs provided by BIC, consisting of Military, DoD Civilians, and DoD Contractors To provide advice and assistance to Marine forces concerning ship configurations, capabilities, offload, throughput, regeneration, and backload of Maritime Prepositioning Equipment & Supplies (MPE/S) Ensure accountability of MPE/S is properly managed between Logistics Command and the MAGTF. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE & ADVISORY TEAM (TAAT) TAAT COTR Advise and assist MAGTF commodity personnel on logistics considerations that impact force standup and regeneration Serve as the BIC KO’s on-site representative, and act as the interface between Marine Corps Maintenance Contractor (MCMC), TAAT, and MAGTF Coordinate the equipment transfer and accountability process between the MAGTF/NSE designated ROs and LOGCOM Shipboard Marine Maintenance Contractor (SBMCMC) EKMS/CCI issue and transfer requirements Ensure all exercise-specific support requests have been properly identified and coordinated with the MCMC Supervisor Develop SBMCMC work schedule and resource plan to meet the MAGTF’s CONOPS Post exercise documentation requirements

Tracking, reporting, and conduct of JLTIs & SL-3 inventories (including CCI). Establishing and managing mobile load dissociation and re-association operations. Container Operation Terminal (COT) lot requirements. Equipment activation & pre-exercise/post-exercise maintenance requirements. Equipment configuration and backload requirements . Interpretation of MPS MDSSII Data and deck diagrams. Unique equipment offload and back load techniques and considerations. PP&P requirements. Ship’s Ops Advisory and End-Of-Ship Reports
