Click on Find a Doctor/Facility tab to enter the Provider Search application

Provider Search Landing Page The Provider search will open in a new window. Without logging in, the search defaults to a “No Preference” as the health plan search criteria.

Changing the Plan (preference search criteria) Click on the “Change” link in order to select a plan type as search criteria. Select a plan type from the list

Search Box Search by name, facility, specialty or condition Attempts to autocomplete your criteria Provides clickable suggestions while you type Click on one of the suggestions or “Go” to execute the search

Best Match Search Best Match Search helps locate doctors that treat patients in similar age range, gender and with similar health conditions Uses Ingenix’s claims data for matching Click the “Get Started” button to start the Best Match Search

Best Match Search User selects a condition

Best Match Search User can select/enter : a related condition Age Gender Insurance Plan (if not already selected) Click “Next” to go to the next screen

Best Match Search User selects what is important to them: Treats a lot of patients with the same condition? Treats a lot of patients in the same age range? Treats a lot of patients of the same gender? Accepts a certain health plan? View executes the search

Quick Links / First Tier Filters Click on any link under Providers, Facility or Services to execute a search

Search Results Page # of results. This updates as filters are selected Filters to narrow search results Search Results List Click to access more filters

Search Results List Users can create a directory based on their search results list. If there are less than 200 providers in the list, they can , fax or download their directory. If there are 200 or more in the list, they can their directory. Users can text a providers information to themselves Can compare up to 3 providers side-by-side Can create a provider list and print out the list once their search is complete View provider details

Provider Details Indicates that the provider is accepting new patients with the plans listed Overview tab will display the following, when available: Gender Race/Ethnicity Medical School Years in Practice Board Certification Office Hours Age of Patients Accepted Additional languages spoken by provider Hospital Admitting Privileges Group affiliations Insurance Plans accepted Additional Information website link
