The following matrix was designed in order to provide our students with explicit instruction and guidance of our expectations in all settings at Thompson Falls Elementary. –The matrix also lines up with our Blue HAWKS behaviors and our reward system (blue hawk bucks). –HAWKS meaning that we as a school are Helpful, Assertive, Work as a team, Kind, and Supportive. We will be "catching our students" meeting and exceeding our expectations in all of these areas along with all of the other positive behaviors our students engage in the course of school day. –A reward will be drawn weekly for students whom have received a Blue Hawk Buck and turned it in at the office. This school wide effort allows our staff to really focus on those positive behaviors that we notice on a daily basis.
