history Our school used to be run by nuns . The nuns asked the education council for funding. The nuns were told that they would not get funding until their buildings were better. They put a proposal for the new building on December 1901 There was a big debate whether to treat ND as a school as some people worried that mixing with French pupils would encourage anti-English thinking and with whom English children would want to fight with in case of a war. They had the four playgrounds split into parts one for the rich girls one for the rich boys one for the poor girls and one for the poor boys . On July 1995 the last nun, Sister Mary-Paul returned to Canada after 125 years of the convent running.

Sports Day The house groups are in different colours because of there normal colours. So Jethou is blue This is our sports day, in the infants they have black team, red team, yellow team, blue team and green team. In the juniors we have house teams, four house groups. They are Jethou, Sark, Herm and Brecqhou. Which are part of the bailiwick of Guernsey.

Sports achievements. We play some sports including football, netball, tag rugby, athletics and hockey. Recently in football our b-team won a 5-aside tournament. Our tag rugby team came 2nd in a tournament. The girls football team came 3rd and 8th . In athletics last year we had three people coming third in sprints. There on the right are the trophies.
