INTRODUCTION Prepare to go through the adventure of dolphins! Don’t forget to wear a coat because the dolphins will jump through the air like a missile and splash the water on your shirts! They splash through the air to make fun! Don't forget that these species are mammals! They breath air!

ABOUT MALES AND FEMALES Maybe you were wondering “what is the difference between males and females”? Well the answer is right here! The difference is males have longer fins than females.

TEETH There are dolphins with 8 to 250 teeth! Bottlenose dolphins have teeth. If you think dolphins use their teeth to chew, you are incorrect. They actually use their teeth to swallow!

WATER & FOOD Dolphins do not drink water because the water they live in is salty. Dolphins use echolocation to sense their food. The dolphins get all their nutrition's and water from fish oils. They eat fish, squid, lobsters, shrimp and crabs.

FUN FACTS! Scientists have sometimes assigned a dolphin to a family! Dolphins can swim 20 miles per hour because they love swimming! The groups that dolphins stay in are called “socials.” Most whales are called dolphins. Dolphins lifespan is up to 50 years old. Dolphins use adaptions to survive.

FUN FACTS #2 Dolphins can swim 7 times faster than humans! Dolphins can hold their breath for 15 min. underwater. River dolphins are endangered mammals. They can dive 2,000 ft. underwater They are very smart mammals They named their selves whistling sounds They make their own games
